Evidence-Based Psychotherapy Tailored to Your Therapeutic Needs

This practice delivers confidential, outcome-oriented psychotherapy that integrates cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, and trauma-informed modalities to facilitate measurable change within a respectful environment that prioritizes autonomy and cultural sensitivity.

As a result of thirty years of frontline practice I have garnered a deep repository of qualitative, longitudinal, and phenomenological data about what works in a psychotherapeutic setting. My work is rooted in an eclectic cognitive/behavioral approach with a good measure of psychoeducation featuring many handouts/infographics. I offer support to clients who are dealing with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, anger, relationships, family systems, major life transitions, family planning, behavioral issues, panic disorders, eating disorders, fears and phobias, low self esteem, lack of confidence and assertiveness, ADHD, and more.

My practice is in a safe residential neighborhood. You park directly in front of my building and walk up two steps (with a railing) to enter a 25’ x 25’ home office.  This welcoming fireside setting features ample, comfortable seating (couches and rocking recliners) along with an 80-inch monitor for viewing session-relevant content and videos.  I have flexible daytime and evening office hours, and I design your initial visit to be welcoming, stress- and anxiety-free, and centered on letting you share some of the reasons you decided to seek the support and care of a behavioral health and wellness specialist.  In the first session, I will also detail my treatment approaches and answer all your questions while addressing any concerns.
